Prior to Sunday’s Azimio gathering at Jacaranda Grounds, former prime minister Raila Odinga warned interior cabinet secretary Prof. Abraham Kithure Kindiki.
Raila Odinga, the head of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), cautioned Kindiki against sending police to Jacaranda Grounds, saying that doing so would be a dangerous game to play.
When required, Kenyans must be able to seek justice, according to Raila, who claimed that President William Ruto stole his victory in the 2022 general election.
He insisted that he would keep holding protest marches up until Ruto and his administration left office.
Ruto asked Raila Odinga to hold as many rallies as possible last week, but he insisted he would not agree to a handshake agreement.
Ruto asserted that Raila Odinga has been pressuring leaders into handshakes, but he vowed to prevent Jakom from toppling his administration.
