Miguna Miguna, the self-declared leader of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), has requested that Florence Bore, the Labour Cabinet Secretary, step down in response to the Karen affair, in which she was caught on camera stealing a house from Gatanga Member of Parliament Edward Muriu.

The two leaders are at odds over a lavish villa in Karen that is rumored to be owned by Muriu. He accused her of residing there without making the necessary payments.

The MP charged the CS with occupying the Amara Ridge mansion against her will despite rejecting her Sh 90 million purchase offer. The politician is asking Sh 120 million for it.

Miguna weighed in on the situation and demanded that Bore resign after accusing her of misusing her position as a key government official.

He maintained that accepting an offer does not constitute a sale and does not grant the right to invade, seize, or occupy another person’s property.

Nobody should think or act in the same way as you. The law does not exempt you. Even though you needed a place to stay since you were homeless, you shouldn’t have misused your power in that manner. Shame on you, said Miguna.
