The 24-year-old attacker has been out since October 13 after suffering a hamstring muscle injury in Nigeria’s 2-2 friendly match with Saudi Arabia.
Due to an injury, the superstar has missed the club’s last three games in a row.
Osimhen has remained in Nigeria since his injury, leaving Napoli waiting for his return, with contract talks still ongoing.
On page 12 of Wednesday’s Gazzetta dello Sport, it is stated that Osimhen has yet to return to Italy, and that Napoli wants him to begin the rigorous phase of his recovery work next week, allowing them to begin arranging for his return.
