Elon Musk, CTO of Space X, has blamed META founder Mark Zuckerberg for their MMA match not taking place.
Musk, 52, appeared on Joe Rogan’s JRE podcast on Tuesday, October 31, and detailed why discussions broke down, thereby killing the fight.
He stated;
“Italy was actually willing to allow us to use the Coliseum.” I was like, well, I can’t say no to that. Then I was like, well, if it’s going to be at the Coliseum, I enjoy UFC and everything, but we don’t have a lot of ads with UFC branding on the Coliseum because it’s a historic area. You don’t want it to be too much like NASCAR. “And then Zuck drew.”
Musk responded to Zuckerberg’s accusation that he was messing about with no intention of fighting;
“[Zuckerberg] accused me of not being serious, and I said, ‘Listen, at the end of the day, I’ll fight you any place, anywhere, under any rules.'”
Elon commented on who would have won the fight.
“I’m like 50% heavier than him,” says the 6’2″ 240-ish lb. I have a patented ‘walrus’ maneuver. I simply lie on him. A walrus does not require martial arts training because it is so large.”
Elon also stated that there is still a potential that the fight will take place, and that he is ready to crack right now.
