Raila Odinga and his Azimio La Umoja group are relieved that Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has returned to Azimio.
Kalonzo, who had earlier launched his candidacy for president, said he chose to withdraw after consulting with the Wiper party’s top brass and the broader Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party.
Kalonzo also stated that his choice to rejoin the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition was influenced by the prayers he offered during his week-long hiatus from politics.
Raila Odinga’s administration will not be complete without former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya declared, while welcoming him on his return to the ‘winning’ squad.
Raila was expected to lose the August presidential election to Deputy President William Ruto because to Kalonzo’s importance of Azimio.
Kalonzo was one of the brains behind the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance party, according to Oparanya.
“Because we share the same political ideals and vision for Kenyans, he helped shape the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance.”
In a Facebook post, Oparanya wrote, “The Wiper party leader is among crucial figures who will help to Raila-Karua triumph in this year’s General Election.”
