According to a new report, CNN management became “exasperated” after Don Lemon’s heated on-air argument with Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. As a result, the cable news network fired him on April 24.

On the set of “CNN This Morning” on Wednesday of last week, Lemon and Ramaswamy got into a furious disagreement that was broadcast on television. According to the New York Times, Lemon was fired as a result of the incident.

The interview’s video appears to show producers trying to guide Lemon through the contentious discussion with Ramaswamy about the Civil Rights struggle, black Americans, and the Second Amendment. Lemon was clearly agitated during this time.

He addressed the producers giving him advice on his earpiece throughout the interview, saying, “Please, I cannot keep a thought if you guys are talking in my ear,” at one point in the conversation.

Lemon, a black man, had previously called it “insulting” that the Republican candidate was “sitting here, whatever ethnicity you are, explaining to me what it’s like to be black in America.”

Following a slew of recent reports regarding Lemon’s purportedly questionable behavior, the broadcast altercation was the most recent tale about him to make headlines.

His remarks that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was “past her prime” at age 51 were among his most egregious mistakes. He continued, saying that “a woman is considered to be in her prime in her 20s, 30s, and maybe 40s,” which was denounced as sexist by critics on both sides.

He reportedly insulted anchor Kaitlan Collins after having to share the spotlight with her and quarreled with his female co-hosts.

After an on-air discussion in December of last year, sources told The Post that Lemon “screamed” at his co-anchor, Kaitlan Collins.

After the Dec. 8 broadcast, when the cameras stopped recording, he allegedly approached Collins and attacked her in front of staff members for allegedly “interrupting” him on TV.

One insider claimed, “Don screamed at Kaitlan, who was obviously upset and ran out of the studio.”

After the incident, a source claimed: “At this point, Kaitlan wants to spend as little time on set with Don… It is a mess.

On Tuesday, April 25, Ramaswamy said in an interview with Fox News Digital that he believed it was obvious that their on-air argument “played a role” in CNN’s choice to fire Lemon.

“I think that any network that wants to foster open debate should embrace that principle by not restricting what someone can say or saying what can say is restricted based on their skin color,” Ramaswamy said to the publication. And I believe they made the proper choice in this instance.
