Former NTV host JANE NGOIRI accepts a lucrative position in RUTO’s administration

Jane Ngoiri, a seasoned media personality, has landed a high-level position in President William Ruto’s administration.

The well-known Swahili anchor left Nation Media Group in 2021 after years of service.

Attorney General Justin Muturi appointed Ngoiri to the HIV and Aids tribunal in a Gazette Notice.

She will be among the six other members of the tribunal.

“The Attorney-General appoints the chairperson and members of the HIV and AIDS Tribunal in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 (1) of the HIV and AIDS Prevention and Control Act,” the notice stated in part.

Carolyne Mboku (Chairperson), Nelson Wanyonyi Osiemo, Brian Ouko Yego, Dr. Irene Njahira Mukui, Prof Walter Godfrey Jaoko, and Dr. Solomon Musani will join her.

Their appointment begins on Friday, March 10, and will last three years.
