Raila Odinga, a former prime minister, has directed all Azimio supporters to assemble at Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi on Monday.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Dennis Onyango, Raila, who is still in South Africa for a number of meetings, stated that the Kamukunji rally will discuss a dossier by an IEBC insider who claimed that despite winning the election on August 9, 2022, with 8.1 million votes, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati rigged it in favor of Raila.

According to Mr. Onyango, “Mr. Odinga will travel to the Kamukunji grounds in Kamukunji Constituency upon his arrival for a People’s Baraza discussions with the people where they would debate recent revelations by a whistleblower on the conduct of the 2022 general election.

Additionally, Raila urged his supporters to attend the event in huge numbers.

In the interest of the nation, Mr. Odinga invites to Kenyans to attend the Kamukunji Baraza in big numbers, the message continued.

This occurs just days after Jeremiah Kioni, general secretary of the Jubilee party, said that Azimio had proof of the election’s rigging.

“As we have seen, 59% of the constituencies cannot be positively verified. Verifiably, Raila Odinga received 8,170,355 votes, or 57.53% of the total votes cast, to win the election. Ruto received 5,915,973 votes, or 41.66%, according to Kioni.
