Charlene Ruto, the daughter of President William Ruto, is said to have persuaded her father to select her friend to the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Board.

Caroline Njoki Maina was nominated to the board of KPA by Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen in a Gazette Notice dated January 20, 2022.

Despite the fact that the 26-year-old lacks experience, Charlene Ruto’s buddy recommended her for the high-paying job.

Njoki posted a screenshot of the gazettement of her name in Murkomen’s notice on Saturday.

According to the gazette notice, Njoki and four other people will start their three-year terms on Monday, January 23.

By writing: “Every milestone in life comes with a significant responsibility that is influenced by acts that portray our character and talents, she conveyed her thanks to the president, his deputy, and the CS.

“I am extremely appreciative. I’ll take on this responsibility to bring about deliberate change and fulfill our promise to Kenyans.
