According to a recent survey by Mizani Africa, Mithinka Linturi, the United Democratic Alliance candidate for governor of Meru County, will be elected in August.
If elections were held today, Linturi, the current Meru county senator, would prevail with 32.3 percent of the vote.
With 29.4%, Kawira Mwangaza finished in second, followed by Kiraitu Murungi (28.1%).
