95 percent of the Mt Kenya region is behind Deputy President William Ruto, according to a vociferous Jubilee Party Member of Parliament.
Jude Njomo, a Kiambu Town Member of Parliament, told Inooro TV on Monday morning that despite backing Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August, he is not sellable in the Mt Kenya region.
Ruto has taken over the mountain, according to Njomo, and he has no choice but to campaign for him in August.
“Things are getting tougher on my side, especially with my political status, so I’m having to start singing the same songs that my supporters do every day.”
Jude Njomo stated that they have been attempting to sell Raila Odinga’s agenda to the greater Mount Kenya region through various political processes, but for God’s sake, nothing is working.
He asked President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta to accept the Mount Kenya region’s final findings, stating that the citizens have already decided that it’s William Ruto or nothing.
