Raila Odinga, the Azimio presidential contender, has promised to make a huge statement on Monday.
Raila stated if he wins the August elections, he will reveal what he will do in his first 100 days in office during a gathering of the European Business Council Kenya (EBC Kenya).
He stated that he will make the announcement after delivering his presidential candidacy papers to the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Sunday.
He stated that he has been keeping it a secret from Kenyans, but that he will reveal it next Monday.
“I’m essentially working on it.” I’ve been telling folks that it’s a secret, but I’m going to reveal it. On Sunday, I’ll give my papers, and on Monday, I’ll reveal what my first 100 days will include,” Raila said.
Raila also stated during the business meeting that his administration will put in place measures to guarantee that business thrives both within and outside the country.
“Measures will be put in place by my administration to make it simpler for businesses to prosper both inside and outside our borders.” Raila remarked, “That’s a promise.”
The ODM leader was accompanied by the Azimio running mate Martha Karua.
Raila had promised earlier to launch his manifesto but backed out after realizing that Deputy President William Ruto might plagiarize it.
