Chris Olave, a standout for the New Orleans Saints, was arrested on Monday, October 23.
According to TMZ Sport, he was nabbed after allegedly driving erratically on a Louisiana street. According to the Kenner Police Department, the 23-year-old wide receiver was arrested shortly after 9 p.m. and released at 11:30 p.m.
Olave was jailed on a charge of careless operation of a motor vehicle after cops said he was doing 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone in a mixed business/residential neighborhood where citizens had complained about individuals speeding.
Olave was allegedly “recklessly manoeuvring between lanes and around other drivers on the roadway” while driving at a fast pace.
Chris is the #1 receiver for the New Orleans Saints this season, with 39 grabs for 471 yards and a score.
