During a concert in New York City on Sunday, June 18, an audience member hurled a phone at American singer Bebe Rexha, striking her in the face.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old singer/songwriter was performing a concert as part of her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour at The Rooftop at Pier 17.
The Back to You singer can be seen singing and moving toward the front of the stage in a viral video before she collapsed to her knees in pain when the phone slammed into her in the face. Later, as medical personnel raced to the stage to assist the singer, she was ushered out of the show.
‘Bebe Rexha’s mother discloses that she had to get three stitches after someone in the audience hurled a phone at her during her concert,’ stated a tweet from the Pop Base account.
