Baya Owen, a member of parliament for Kilifi North, has expressed concern over Pastor Ezekiel Odiero’s church activities and his uncertain financial situation.
The MP claimed that Ezekiel brainwashed his followers, including schoolchildren, in his speech to parliament.
According to reports, kids bring ‘anointed’ white handkerchiefs from the pastor to the exam room, thinking that will help them study for the test.
Additionally, Baya said that the preacher was brainwashing his followers by advising them not to visit the hospital.
“While we are hosting this pastor, another Mackenzie will come along eventually. Today, sick children are removed from Kilifi Hospital and transported to the pastor to be prayed for. Some of these children pass away, but no one is speaking about it.
He said, “One day we’ll have to deal with another atrocity from that priest.
