A renowned thug named Vadi, who has been responsible for a string of violent robberies in Mathare and Juja Road, has been revealed by an undercover police officer tasked with dismantling criminal groups in Nairobi’s Eastlands neighborhood.
Vadi was regarded as harsh and vicious by the officer.
He was detained for charges connected to violent robberies last year, but his family helped him get released.
He is returned and, according to reports, has enlisted more gang members.
He belonged to the notorious Katombi gang, which was vanquished the previous year.
