Albert Kamasumba, a 29-year-old policeman from Zambia, shot and murdered himself after killing his estranged wife, Deborah Kasakula.
It was learned that the incident took place in Pamodzi Township, Ndola, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, about 5 o’clock.
Local media reports that the police fatally shot his wife after learning that she was getting married to someone else.
Deborah allegedly left him because she had grown weary of his abuse, according to another version of the story.
Deborah had returned to her parents’ home in Ndola’s Kawama Township after the pair had lived apart for a while in the Chifubu Police Camp.
He went on the rampage and shot her and another family member after finding that she wanted to marry another man in Kitwe.
