On Sunday, October 15, a resident on Riverview Road in Ottawa, South Africa, was murdered by a renter.
According to accounts, a neighbor called Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at 14:36 after hearing about the murder.
When the property owner requested unpaid rent, a verbal argument erupted, according to police. The tenant departed and returned with two (2) additional males. They stabbed the victim many times before fleeing the area on foot.
When other tenants on the building heard the man pleading for help while being stabbed, they promptly called the police.
The event is being investigated by the police.
