The leaked report that showed William Ruto lost the 2022 presidential election to Azimio Leader Raila Odinga has continued to draw a range of responses.
While the Azimio team demanded an audit of IEBC servers during their press conference on Thursday to determine the reality of what happened in August, Kenya Kwanza leaders have chosen to target specific Azimio members.
The requests to audit the elections on August 9, 2022, were savagely opposed by famous attorney and Kenya Kwanza supporter Ahmednasir Abdullahi in a statement yesterday.
Karua claimed at the Azimio conference that IEBC officials omitted details from the whistleblower report in order to support President William Ruto’s victory.
Because the IEBC is the duty bearer under the Constitution, the court permitted the IEBC’s willful withholding of the material, she claimed.
The claims that the IEBC is questioning staff to determine who revealed the information are understandable given that the truth has finally come to light.
Ahmednasir, however, said on Twitter that Karua’s comments during the Azimio press conference have left her panting for political air.
Using Twitter, he wrote, “Hon Martha Karua SC is yearning for political air.”
Nobody could take Karua seriously after what happened in the previous election, so Ahmednassir bluntly ordered her to either play second fiddle to Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka or go.
