Prof James Ole Kiyiapi, a former Presidential candidate, has sent a warning to former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, who abandoned the Azimio La Umoja alliance on Monday.
After Raila Odinga picked Narc Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua as his running companion in August, Kalonzo departed the Raila Odinga-led coalition on Monday.
Prof Kiyiapi encouraged Kalonzo to swallow his pride and back Raila and Karua for the Azimio alliance to win round one in August in a tweet on Wednesday.
Ole Kiyapi went on to say that if Kalonzo truly cares about the country, he should back the Azimio leaders in their fight against the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, which is led by Deputy President William Ruto.
“HE Kalonzo Musyoka is a seasoned politician with a passion for this country who will reflect and make the best decision possible to help fellow SC Hon. Karua.”
“His lieutenants don’t have to make unreasonable demands. If we feel it is about the country, we can accept the spirit of compromise,” Kiyapi remarked on Twitter.
