Famous human rights advocate Boniface Mwangi has explained why President William Ruto hasn’t appointed attorney Miguna Miguna to any office in his administration despite her campaigning on his behalf.
Miguna was one of the Kenyans who bravely supported Ruto during the election last year.
Using his social media sites, which have millions of followers, the lawyer, who was at the time living in exile in Toronto, Canada, promoted “hustler gospel” and attacked Raila Odinga, the front-runner in the race for president.
But after eight months, Ruto has still not given the “General” a reward; instead, he is only giving out rewards to his Kalenjin tribesmen and a few Kikuyus.
In a social media post on Monday, award-winning photographer Mwangi claimed that Ruto had declined to hire Miguna because the latter “cannot keep a secret” and disrespects privacy.
Unless your friend or boss commits a crime, whatever they do in private is their personal business. This is a fairly simple guideline that applies to friendships and even professional partnerships. Ruto might never hire Miguna since he doesn’t value privacy, according to Mwangi’s tweets.
