The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has denied reports that it is investigating former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka for land grabbing.
On Thursday, the ODPP stated on Twitter that the statement on a Citizen Witness poster is false.
“ALERT! “The ODPP wishes to inform the public that the information on the attached poster is false and misleading,” the ODPP stated.
According to the poster:
“I have received a report detailing the investigation outcome of land grabbing allegations of NYS land by the former vice president Hon Kalonzo Musyoka. I will review the file and advise you on the next steps.”
Kalonzo was at the center of the storm in 2022, when he was accused of stealing the National Youth Service’s 200-acre land in Yatta.
Later, the Wiper leader walked to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Kiambu Road, where he was given a report on the investigation and cleared of any wrongdoing.
