In the 11 days before the country’s general election, President Uhuru Kenyatta has pledged to demolish Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking in Nakuru County on Wednesday, Uhuru declared that he would travel the nation over the course of the following week to caution Kenyans against choosing Ruto in August.
Speaking to Kalenjin community leaders, the president described Ruto as a wicked figure who will rule with an iron hand like the late former president Daniel Moi.
The father of the nation declared that, with less than two weeks left in his term as president, he would employ all available methods to prevent Ruto from becoming Kenya’s fifth president.
Uhuru promised the group of leaders that he would make sure Ruto didn’t win the presidency of Kenya on election day.
Uhuru declared that he is backing Raila Odinga for president of the Azimio party because he is a somebody who values peace and can bring Kenyans together.
