Prof. Kithure Kindiki, a senator representing Tharaka Nithi County, responded to a report in one of the local newspapers linking Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to a company based in Greece that is in charge of printing ballots for the election on August 9th.
In a letter to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Azimio leaders reportedly accuse Wetangula of having met with the directors of Inform Lykos (Hellas) SA Holdings, which the commission hired to produce ballots.
Speaking on Wednesday in Marsabit, Kindiki rejected the assertions and claimed that this was just one of the leaders of Azimio’s strategies for contesting the election’s results on August 9.
“Our ODM/trifling Azimio’s advertising on the ballot printing tender is an inexpensive attempt to set the stage for them to reject the results.
Folks, you won’t even realize what struck you in 33 days! They would be shielded from the impending defeat by Uhuru and the government apparatus, Kindiki said.
