According to the most recent survey by Infotrak Research and Consulting, Raila Odinga, the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, is the undisputed ruler of Nairobi politics.
If elections are called today, 49 percent of Nairobi residents will choose Raila Odinga, while 30 percent will back DP Ruto, according to a poll that was made public on Tuesday.
Prof. George Wajackoyah, a presidential candidate for the Roots Party, came in third with 5% of the vote, while David Mwaure, an Agano candidate, finished last with 1%. 26 percent of voters remain undecided.
With a 51 percent approval rating, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party is still the most well-liked, followed by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party at 30 percent and the Jubilee party at 8 percent.
Over 1024 people are alleged to have participated in the survey, which was reportedly done via computer-assisted telephone interviews.
