Moses Kuria, a representative for Gatundu South, has disclosed that he has been looking into the prospect of former prime minister Raila Odinga succeeding Uhuru Kenyatta as president of the Republic of Kenya over the past several days.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has approved four candidates to run for president in August, including Raila.
Others include David Mwaure, the chairman of the Agano Party, Vice President William Ruto, and Prof. George Wajackoyah, the presidential candidate for the Roots Party.
On Thursday, Kuria stated on social media that he had applied every method conceivable to determine if Raila Odinga could become president and that they had all produced negative findings.
He claimed that even President Uhuru Kenyatta had given up on Raila Odinga because he knew the elder statesman had little chance of winning the August election.
“I have employed all formulas, including the dental formula and Pythagoras’ theorem. There is no way Raila Odinga could possibly win this election, in my opinion. Kuria posted on his Facebook page on Thursday that President Uhuru Kenyatta had given up on him because of this.
