Following the viral video of three ladies plucking a carnivorous plant that resembled a male genital, the Cambodian government issued a warning to the people not to engage in such activities for fear of extinction.

Nepenthis holdenii, sometimes known as the ‘penis plant,’ is a widespread plant in western Cambodia’s mountainous region.
