On Thursday morning, a 28-year-old lady stabbed her two children to death in Rongai town before hurting her 30-year-old husband and herself.
According to the police complaint, the lady killed her six-year-old daughter and two-year-old son by stabbing them with kitchen knives during a domestic quarrel.
She allegedly stabbed her husband numerous times before turning the knife on herself after killing the minors.
The incident occurred in their rental building, Taaria Apartments.
After hearing a disturbance, neighbors raced to the residence and transported the couple to the hospital.
The couple had a long-running domestic quarrel, according to the caretaker.
He had no idea, though, that the disagreement would turn tragedy.
The spouse was heard pleading for help as he groaned in pain, according to the caretaker, in the early hours of the morning.
When he arrived at the residence with the help of the neighbors, he discovered the two youngsters lying in a pool of blood.
“We heard a commotion from the house, as usual, but we had no idea it would end tragically.” When we opened the door, the two minors were lying in a pool of blood,” recalled the caretaker.
Hussein Gura, Kajiado North Police Commander, confirmed the event and said the couple was transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital in severe condition.
“Preliminary investigations show that the couple were involved in a domestic disagreement that resulted in the odd killings,” said the police chief. “They have been taken to Kenyatta National Hospital.”
