JOHN HOLLINS, a former Chelsea manager, has died at the age of 76.

John Hollins, a former manager and player for Chelsea, passed away at age 76.

Before beginning a three-year run as manager in 1985, Hollins played more than 400 times for Chelsea between 1963 and 1975.

While coaching teams like Swansea and Crawley, he also played more than 100 games for Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal.

He won the League Cup in 1965, the FA Cup in 1970, and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1971 while he was a player for Chelsea.

On June 14, the Chelsea football club posted a statement on its website confirming Hollins’ passing.

The loss of John Hollins MBE, a former player and manager for Chelsea Football Club, at the age of 76, is deeply regrettable.

The entire club offers John’s family and friends its deepest condolences.
