This summer, AC Milan of Serie A in Italy plans to spend up to €30 million on winger Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, Milan is still preparing to make a bid for Chukwueze, whose Villarreal contract ends in the summer of 2024. The winger’s representatives spoke with Geoffrey Moncada about the circumstance earlier on Tuesday afternoon while they were at the Milan offices.
It was the first time the two parties had met to discuss the transfer, and the conversation lasted for two hours. Since Milan hasn’t yet spoken to Villarreal, they must decide whether to follow forward with their approach or not after learning the potential costs of a trade.
The winger impressed the management of AC Milan last season by scoring 13 goals and adding 11 assists in 50 appearances for Villarreal in all competitions. This is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
