President William Ruto’s administration is not done tormenting Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Center and Church, and is determined to bring him down.
The Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) invaded Pastor Ezekiel’s church and seized various items, despite a court order prohibiting the police from further hurting the Man of God.
The items included communication devices, holy water, handkerchiefs, and computer drives, according to Pastor Ezekiel’s lawyers Cliff Ombeta and Dunstan Omari.
The seizure occurred during a police raid on the church in order to investigate and learn more about Pastor Ezekiel’s case.
ATPU police removed goods, claiming they needed to be analyzed in Nairobi, according to Ombeta and Omari.
“ATPU officers came to church on Tuesday and took communication items, computer drives, holy water, and handkerchiefs, explaining that it was for expert analysis,” Ombeta explained.
The incident was linked to ongoing police investigations into Pastor Odero’s relationship with notorious preacher Paul Mackenzi, who is currently in police prison.
Pastor Ezekiel of New International Life Church in Kilifi was detained on April 27 on suspicion of being an accomplice to pastor Paul Mackenzie, but was later freed on bond.
