Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been challenged to advocate for secession by Trade and Investment Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, who claims the Kenya Kwanza Government is sick of his meaningless threats.
Raila announced on Friday that he will advocate for separation due to what he called bias in the distribution of national resources and the “award” of jobs to particular tribes.
CS Kuria spoke on how the Housing Fund will affect the economy and how it will play a significant role in generating a lot of job prospects.
Kuria claims that thousands of Kenyans have already made donations to the fund.

“With gearing, I can easily convince investors to increase this by 25 times, or Sh45 billion, for dwellings. That works out to 18,000 homes at Ksh 2.5 Million. Ten jobs are produced each home. With a pool of 30,000 voluntary contributors and a gearing factor of 25X, that’s 180,000 employment right there.
The CS continued by saying that by contributing to the initiative, Kenyans on salaries will provide the Housing Fund a significant boost.
He claimed that this will provide numerous Kenyans with much-needed job opportunities.
In Kenya now, there are 3 million salaried employees. By the same logic, that amounts to 18 million employment. Secession is optional. This country needs to change, he continued.
