Edwin Sifuna, a prominent senator from Nairobi, claimed that a plain-clothes police officer tried to assassinate him while he was leading a group of Azimio lawmakers in a protest against the high cost of living along Wabera Street in the Nairobi Central Business District.
He allegedly shot Sifuna in the head with a live bullet in an effort to kill him.
Sifuna published a picture of the bad cop on Twitter and assured him that he wouldn’t be intimidated.
As Azimio leaders begin their weekly demos on Monday, he further instructed him to prepare more bullets.
