Detectives have opened an inquiry after a 28-year-old medical intern named Fredrick Wambua’s body was found inside his rented home in Kangundo.
Days after Fredrick was reported missing, his body was discovered hanging in his bedroom.
The incident was confirmed by Michael Singa, the deputy police commander for Kangundo sub-county, who also revealed that the deceased was a medical student at Moi University who was an intern at Kangundo Level 4 hospital.
One of their interns, Dr. Fredrick Wambua, 29, committed suicide inside his rented house at an apartment in Kangundo Town, according to a doctor at Kangundo Level 4 Hospital, the police chief stated.
A suicide note that the decedent is thought to have authored was found at the scene.
The body was taken to the Kangundo Level 4 hospital mortuary after police had processed the scene and before an autopsy.
Police have not yet released information about the suicide letter.
The intern might have used an electric cord to commit suicide.
In the house, he lived by himself.
