In the recently ended presidential election, Raila Odinga of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance is expected to win by a wide margin, according to Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
Joho, Raila Odinga’s confidant, recently stated on social media that he is only waiting for Raila Odinga to be sworn in as Kenya’s fifth president.
According to John Quincy Adams, “Patience and perseverance have a magical influence before which problems fade and impediments vanish. Folks, it’s returning home. #BabaTheFifth,” said Joho.
Although it is clear that William Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance is in the lead according to the results, Azimio leaders have been celebrating.
All preliminary findings made public by the IEBC place Ruto in the lead.
Joho might, however, be holding out for President Uhuru Kenyatta to step in and assist them at the Kenyan bomas.
It is also clear that Wafula Chebukati, the chairman of the IEBC, has maintained his independence and has refused to sway the results in favor of any particular candidate.
