David Matsanga, a lawyer and wanted fugitive from Uganda, has issued a message to Kenyans ahead of the election on Tuesday, when over 22 million Kenyans are expected to cast their votes for the country’s fifth president.
Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate for the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, and William Ruto, the deputy president running for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, are in a two-horse battle for the presidency.
Author Matsanga urged Kenyans to vote for Raila Odinga and his running companion, Martha Karua, on Monday in a post on his Facebook page. Matsanga claimed that both candidates have the best interests of Kenyans at heart.
Matsanga claimed that Ruto and his running mate, Rigathi Gachagua, are liars who ought to be disqualified from office.
“WAKE UP EARLY AND VOTE – TUESDAY, MY KENYAN FOLLOWERS FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS, PLEASE VOTE FOR RAILA ODDINGA AND MARTHA KARUA,” I have urged my Kenyan supporters via the handshake strategy.
Matsanga posted on his Facebook page, “They are the best set of hands, the others are senior CONVICTS of land grab and 200 million of cash in the account.
