Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate for the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, has experienced a significant setback in his quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta after the most recent survey released by a local media outlet indicated that he would not prevail in the election on Tuesday.
Between Raila and William Ruto, the president-elect of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, the journal had polled Kenyans on Monday.
73.1 percent of the more than 4000 Kenyans who took part in the poll said they would back Ruto.
The head of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, Raila Odinga, came in second place with 26.9% of the vote.
