A candidate for the Mathare parliamentary seat named Kevin Mbuvi Kioko alias Bahati said last week that he had been offered money to the tune of Sh 50 million to abandon his quest for the seat in the General Election scheduled for August 9.
This came after ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna disclosed that the Singer would be supporting ODM candidate Antony Oluoch in the Mathare parliamentary race.
Sifuna said that Bahati lacked the strength to defeat him, but the machozi hitmaker claimed that the ODM Secretary-general had accepted a KSh 3 million bribe from Oluoch to mislead Bahati’s fans.
