From President Uhuru Kenyatta snubbing his Deputy, William Ruto, to First Lady Margaret Kenyatta utterly disregarding the DP’s wife, Rachael Ruto, Kenyatta has broken convention. In summary, the second family’s day was not going well.
Margaret’s obvious disregard for Ruto and his wife Rachael Ruto in broad daylight astonished Kenyans.
The First Lady walked right by Ruto and Rachael on her way to her sitting area and sat down. She, on the other hand, greeted people sitting next to her and then sat.
Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria went bare-knuckle on President Kenyatta and his wife for degrading Ruto’s family when commenting to his social media sites, stating the First Lady’s move amounted to an abuse of authority and a blot on Kenya’s image to the outside world.
Other Ruto allies slammed Uhuru for ignoring the DP at yesterday’s Madaraka Day festivities, accusing him of turning a national occasion into a campaign platform for Azimio.
