Elijah Memusi, a Kajiado Central Member of Parliament, was thrown into mourning on Tuesday morning following the death of his wife Stella Memusi.
Stella was killed in a car accident on the Athi River – Namanga Road.
Stella died on the spot after her vehicle collided with a lorry, according to Muthuri Mwongera, the Kajiado County Commander.
The vehicle’s driver, on the other hand, fled the accident with many injuries and was taken to the hospital.
“The death of Stella Kanchory, the wife of Kajiado Central MP Hon Memusi Kanchory, is heartbreaking news.
“It is awful that we had to lose such a lively lady in a horrible traffic accident just a few kilometers from her house…,” stated Ole Lenku in his condolence statement.
