Jude Bellingham, a star for England, has been officially acquired by Real Madrid for £113 million from Borussia Dortmund.
The signing of the England international by Los Blancos, who had agreed to a deal worth an initial £88.5 million, was anticipated to be completed in ten days.
It is estimated that the agreement will guarantee Dortmund £88.5 million, but will increase to £113.5 million as a result of £25 million in performance-related add-ons that are thought to be attainable.
Bellingham signed a six-year contract with the Bernabeu, and the player will be introduced by the team tomorrow at a presentation ceremony before going before the media.
Vinicius Jr., a star for Real, tweeted: “Welcome to the best team in the world, @BellinghamJude,” shortly after the transfer was officially announced.
The 19-year-old, who is regarded as a complete midfielder, transferred from Birmingham to Borussia Dortmund in 2020 when he was 16 years old.
He played 132 times in three full seasons at the club, scoring 24 goals. He was a key member of Edin Terzic’s team this season, although they fell short of winning the Bundesliga for the first time in 11 years on the last day.
