Neymar, a playmaker from Brazil, apparently has his heart set on leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer and joining Manchester United.
The club is looking to start over following years of Champions League failure, therefore the 31-year-old’s time in Paris appears to be coming to an end.
According to The Sun, the Brazilian, who has four years left on his lucrative deal, will only accept a transfer to Old Trafford since the team is seeking out another forward.
Neymar reportedly makes close to £1 million a week, so joining United would need him to accept a sizable pay reduction.
He is also said to be at odds with PSG’s management after the forward skipped the French champions’ championship celebrations in order to go to the Monaco Grand Prix.
Since joining the team, Neymar has scored 118 goals in 173 games for PSG.
