Formerly a fallen hero, Conjestina Achieng, often known as Conje, of Kenya, has received new hope and a second chance at life as a result of former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko.
Conjestina was abandoned by the government and Sonko brought her to the Mombasa Women Empowerment Network Hospital in Miritini for rehabilitation. Since then, she has undergone a transformation.
Carol Radull, a well-known media figure, posted pictures of Conjestina hard at work in the gym.
Conjestina has benefited greatly from Radull’s assistance in getting back on track.
Conjestina has spent the past eight months in the rehabilitation facility.
After her rehabilitation is complete, she will work in a gym where she will train young boxers.
