The Office of the Spouse to the Prime Cabinet Secretary Tessie Shangatti Mudavadi will be officially opened by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi today.
Mudavadi will be the special guest at the event, which will be held at the Movenpick Hotel in Nairobi.
In a statement, the Prime Cabinet Secretary’s office stated, “The Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary H.E (DR) Musalia Mudavadi, E.G.H. invites your Media House to the launch of the Office of the Spouse to the Prime Cabinet Secretary.”
Tessie’s office was formed by President William Ruto’s administration and entirely supported by taxpayers to supplement the work done by the First Lady Rachel Ruto and the Second Lady Dorcas Gachagua, according to a statement by Mudavadi’s media team.
He explained that the government created the Office of the Spouse to the Prime Cabinet Secretary to “supplement the work being done by the Office of the First Lady and the Office of the Spouse to the Deputy President.”
This occurs despite the government’s public declaration that the coffers are empty and its appeal for donations to help feed the needy.
