Raila Odinga, a presidential contender for Azimio La Umoja, is a man under attack. Prior to the general election on August 9th, it was revealed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was cozying up to Deputy President William Ruto.
Yesterday, ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale vented on social media, accusing IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati of conspiring with Ruto to harm Raila Odinga.
Etale claims that Chebukati has introduced 10,000 more phony polling places for Ruto to use in order to defeat Raila Odinga in the upcoming election.
He did, however, issue a warning that Azimio would not support such nonsense.
“Wafula Chebukati, the games you are playing to appease William Ruto, who has deposited money into your account, will lead to your downfall. You will be embarrassed and the extra 10,000 polling places you set up for William Ruto will be closed. Etale said, “We won’t let you play games.
This occurs at the same time that the Moses Wetangula, a senator from Bungoma who is close to Ruto, has been accused by the Azimio camp of interfering with the printing of ballots.
Azimio claims that Wetangula is cozying up to the Greek firm that won the IEBC tender to print this year’s ballots.
