As an inquiry into his role at Old Trafford progresses, stakeholders and club administrators may decide Mason Greenwood’s future at Manchester United.

Following the dismissal of rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault resulting in actual bodily harm allegations against him, the England striker is presently suspended from his United obligations while an internal inquiry is conducted.

The 21-year-old could still have a career at the Premier League powerhouses, according to manager Erik ten Hag, who confessed that he has no control over the matter on Monday.

“[He] demonstrated in the past that he is capable of doing that [scoring goals for United],” the Duthcman told the Times.

United’s probe may be finished in the summer, but after that, according to the Mirror, club stakeholders will be consulted about Greenwood’s stance.

To ensure a company-wide agreement has been reached, it is likely that commercial partners, supporters, and members of the women’s team will be contacted.

Since his arrest in 2022, the United youth product has been unable to train or play for the team, and he won’t be allowed to return unless the club grants him permission to do so.

According to several of his pals, Greenwood reportedly said he doesn’t see himself returning to Man United as a player.

Italian team Juventus, who has been rumoured to making an approach for Greenwood recently, might provide a chance for a career comeback.

The forward, who has 36 goals in 130 games, reportedly met with club officials back in February to talk about the following steps.

To prevent hindering Ten Hag’s team from accomplishing their goals, United is said to have postponed making a decision regarding the player’s future until the end of the current campaign.

The FA Cup final between Manchester City and United will take place at Wembley on Saturday, marking the end of United’s campaign.
