After a TikTok “prank” video showing people breaking into a private home without permission, a youngster will show up in court.

On May 24, Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, 18, will make an appearance in jail at Thames Magistrates’ Court after being accused of disobeying a community protection notice.

O’Garro, of Hackney, east London, was detained following a review of video from social media.

A couple was horrified after three teenage boys forced entry into their home.

The group is seen in the TikTok video passing a woman in the front yard shouting for her boyfriend as they enter her house through the unlocked front door. But one of the boys ignores him and sits down on the couch in the living area, asking, “Is this where the study group is?”

The group only chooses to depart the area after the man makes it known that he is a father of young children.

It is understandable that there has been a lot of commentary on this case in the media and on social media, according to Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway of the Central East Command Unit of the Metropolitan Police.

I would beg that the legal system be respected and allowed to go its rightful course now that a person has been charged.
