According to what he said on Wednesday, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda is similarly dissatisfied with President William Ruto’s management style.

When Ruto won the president last year, many East African leaders had great expectations for him. However, eight months later, the Son of Kamagut has disappointed many due to lies and incompetence in managing East Africa’s largest economy.

On Wednesday, Museveni, who was covertly endorsing Ruto for president, threatened to expel Kenyans from Uganda over the rise in livestock rustling incidents and Turkana herders’ illegal gun smuggling.

“I give the Turkana people six months to carry out my orders. However, Museveni stated in an Executive Order he signed that if the problem of guns entering Uganda illegally, the surrender of the criminals who killed our geologists, the application of traditional justice, and the return of the stolen cattle are not resolved, he will have no choice but to expel all the Kenyan Turkanas and their cattle and they will never be permitted to re-enter Uganda with their cattle.

According to Museveni, permitting Kenyan Turkana to settle in the area has continued to be a source of instability for his nation.

The decision follows the April 20th sentencing of 32 Kenyans to 20 years in prison each for illegally possessing firearms and ammunition by a Ugandan martial court.
