Chethana Raj, an Indian television celebrity, died in a private hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka, after undergoing “fat free” removal surgery.
On Monday, May 16, the star admitted to having the surgery.
Following issues with breathing that led fluid to build up in her lungs, the actress is said to have died from a heart attack.
The movie actress was reportedly transferred from the cosmetic hospital to Kaaade Hospital Manjunath Nagar’s ICU unit.
The actress is said to have been unresponsive and without a pulse when medics arrived.
Doctors tried for 45 minutes to resuscitate her using CPR, but it failed.
Chethana was most known for her roles in Indian television programs such as Geetha, Doresaani, and Olavina Nildana.
She has acted in a number of television shows and films.
