Kim Kardashian has provided insight into how she responded to her ex-husband Kanye West’s numerous social media tantrums, including the time he claimed she had an affair with Drake.
The 42-year-old reality star admitted to her mother Kris Jenner on the season 3 premiere of The Kardashians on May 25 that she had been “having an anxiety attack” and “on the verge of tears” all morning as Kanye’s behavior made news.
“I never remark, even amidst all the craziness—of anything Kanye says about us. Never do I post. He has concocted the craziest story about you and [my sex tape], and we don’t say anything. We remain silent despite all the fabrications and nonsense,” Kim tweeted in response to Kanye’s claim that Kris, 67, leaked her daughter’s notorious sex tape in 2007.
North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, are shared by Kanye and Kim. The couple divorced in 2022 after divorcing in 2021. The 45-year-old rapper frequently used Instagram during their breakup to criticize Kim’s parenting abilities, her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, and Kris Jenner’s handling of the Kardashians.
Kim confessed, “I think at this point, I just assume everything I text Kanye is going to be on the internet.” “I feel capable of handling anything. I’m just so heartbroken for my mother because she has to deal with so much from so many different directions at once.
During their conversation, Kris remarked to her daughter that Kanye is “doing this to himself” and she “can’t control somebody else.”
“Even just, like, how he looks so down on me for, like, my tape and brings it up all over town, all over the media — thanks for reminding people once again,” Kim said. “One day, all of his mischief — I don’t even know what the f—k to call it — will do far more harm to the kids than my recording ever could. And I have to remain silent as I sit here because I know my kids will find that to be the greatest thing for them in the future. By the way, every time I get in the van and the kids want to blast dad’s music, I’m the one where bad things could be happening. ‘He’s the best,’ I exclaim. Yeah.’ I put it on, and as we sing along, I feel like I’m dying inside because I will always be his biggest supporter.
Kim drew attention to the fact that while in some interviews Kanye said he would continue to be his ex’s “forever protector,” in other tweets he criticizes her.
The one who is hurting me the most is he. The rumor that I was hooking up with Drake and having an affair was started by him. He publicly accused me of that over our entire marriage,” she stated.
So it seems sense that the person who is meant to defend me the most would openly accuse me of having an affair during our whole marriage. I find it quite difficult to understand how he perceives himself as a protector.
Kanye, who has had conflicts with Drake over the years, first addressed rumors about Kim Drake in public back in 2018. Kim has vehemently denied ever dating Drake.
Additionally, Kim stated that the rapper had requested “approval” regarding her comments about him on The Kardashians. “And I’ll respond, ‘Well, you just talked about me in this song, this song, this interview, and you didn’t ask my permission.'” I also never say anything negative,” she added. “I never speak negatively.
